The Black Running

by Anita Fleerackers

‘The covid pandemic imposed strong restrictions on us artists. Living in isolation, staying at home, not being allowed to greet children and grandchildren let alone hug them. No family and or friends around. We all and worldwide had to deal with it without exception. Rebellion rose in me, I had to and would break out, break out into isolation, into nature. Like a runaway horse, I started running through my garden, digging, working. A kitchen garden to say hello to emerged. Surrounding my garden the meadow with horses also storming across their path, allies brought peace! Nature's breath of life’
