As a survivor, she is compelled to create in order to express both her feeling of gratitude for the blessing of her health and the sorrow of witnessing the devastating deterioration of her beloved family members. Their courage in facing down their disease inspires her to reach deep inside herself and manifest all her myriad emotions and sensitivities through her paintings which reflect the Passion and Sensitivity of her heart, mind, and soul

What you see here is what looks like the face of an animal, could also be a human face, many eyes looking out. There is a yin and yang depiction of the pleasure and pain of migration. What you see at the bottom is the devastating results of migration, that ends in suffering and pain whereas what you see above is the migration towards some more beautiful, more healthy, more sustainable
